Embarking on a creative journey that transcends the boundaries of traditional art forms, my evolution from one-dimensional computer designs to immersive three-dimensional pieces has been a thrilling transition. While the comfort of the "undo command" occasionally tugs at me, there's an undeniable joy in getting my hands dirty with paint and glue.

In 2020, I took a whimsical turn by designing my first birdhouse—a venture that marked the beginning of my foray into crafting functional art. The following year, 2021, saw the inception of jewelry boxes and keepsake boxes, expanding the repertoire of my artistic expressions.

Driven by a perpetual desire to explore new mediums, 2022 became the year of wire experimentation. I bent wire into playful shapes—dogs, cats, goats, flowers, dragonflies, and more—adding these whimsical wire elements to an array of creations, from ornaments and miniature birdhouses to artisan magnets, birdhouses, bluebird boxes, and even fairy light boxes. To infuse texture and color, I began incorporating scrapbook paper or cut-up gift bags as backdrops to my intricate wire designs.

 

In the ever-evolving landscape of my artistic pursuits, 2023 marked a daring leap into the world of stained glass. Despite initial trepidation about potential cuts and glass slivers, the journey has been surprisingly smooth, with minimal need for band-aids. Navigating the learning curve of cutting and grouting stained glass, I discovered a newfound appreciation for the intricate art of mosaic design. A standout in my repertoire has become the rainbow mosaic handcrafted birdhouses—a bestseller known for their irresistible charm and vibrant hues. The miniature birdhouse version has also found its place among the adorable and colorful creations.
